Women and Money
A recent study found that 94% of women believe they will be solely responsible for their finances or the finances of their family at some point in their life.1 Whether a woman is single, widowed, or divorced, we want to ensure they have the tools to successfully manage all their finances, not just when they are alone.
Several factors play into the financial challenge for women:
- Women today still earn, on average, about 83% of their male peers and receive fewer raises.
- Women still spend less time in the workforce than their male counterparts.
- Because of the wage disparity, women often have less saved toward retirement.
- Women comprise a larger portion of Social Security recipients due to a lack of retirement funds.
Because of these reasons alone, women should be more conscience of ensuring they have a plan for their financial future. I can help with your plan, just as I have helped many other women in similar situations.
My goal is to equip women with the tools to work towards living a financially comfortable life while also being able to save for their future goals and dreams. I encourage you to reach out no matter your financial state; it is important to know your options. Let’s work together to help raise and maintain your financial health with a customized financial plan.
